MINIMALISM!

Today, I am going to write about a very important topic, which if we apply in our lives, we would not be idle and we will always have something to do and our lives would always be improving. It's called "MINIMALISM". Minimalism is same as the name suggests, minimizing things. Minimalism aims at minimizing things from your life which you don't need or are of no use. Reducing things from your life, decluttering things is what minimalism all about. 

                                                   
                                                        For example, let's consider your smartphone. You have lots of apps loaded on your phone. But are they all really useful? Do you use all of them more frequently? If not, then minimalism tells you to delete those apps. Declutter your phone and free it from any unwanted apps or even other stuff like photos, videos etc. that are no longer required. This way, your phone would be free from unwanted stuff and you will be left with more memory on your phone. 


                                                              Now let's consider your life. Remove the things that you do not use quite frequently, and that are just there because you have kept them. Buy things that are useful, keep digital notes if possible instead of paper ones so that it may be easier to carry them wherever you go and reduce your physical stuff, limit your wants etc. 


                                                              You can yourself figure out what more steps could be taken to apply minimalism in your life so that it remains decluttered and you make the most of it. Keep exploring!

LEARN TO ADJUST INTO SITUATIONS!

There will be some situations in life where we need some adjustment and some compromises to move along with them. Sometimes, these adjustments may be at a larger scale. Try to adjust in every situation, unless it is too extreme, but do not pressurize yourself. It's okay to make some compromises in your job or any other place where you frequently go to. Adjustment also makes us stronger to deal with the situations that are very challenging. 


                                                                                      Do not be afraid of what will happen if I do this, or will it turn into something bad if I keep on adjusting to this situation and keep on agreeing to the other person. It will all be fine. It will only make you better, and not deteriorate you. If you not at all feel like adjusting or adapting to those particular circumstances, you can back off from those and choose not to adjust to the same. Strategize your life according to your own plans and even if you fail, remember we have 26 letters in the alphabet range. If Plan A doesn't work, we have Plan B.

WHEN GOING THROUGH HELL, DON'T STOP!

I am aware of what you are going through. I know there's pain in there, and you feel like this is the end. You feel like it is impossible to get out of the situation you are in. I am not gonna get out of this situation, I am stuck. But let me tell you, all this is temporary. However painful the situation is, however impossible it may seem to get out of it, it will surely get better. Because it is the law of nature. What goes down has to come up. Always remember these 4 words which are applicable in both good as well as bad times, THIS TOO SHALL PASS.

1. I can get better.
2. I am reaching out for help.
3. This too shall pass.

10. I need to be more patient.
11. I feel horrible, but I know that's not the whole truth.
12. My feelings are not reliable indication of my reality.

                                                              Relax, stay calm, have patience and keep going. You don't know when it's gonna heal, but it surely will, because nothing is permanent, even if it feels like it will not get better. It's just a false feeling which is very normal at times of depression or anxiety.

SELF CONVERSATION!

Self conversation is a very important tool for dealing with the situations in our life. Having a conversation with one self has a lot of importance and it is one of the very helpful techniques that one can apply while in a problem or depression. Talk to yourself just as you would talk to other people and make them understand and calm them down.

                                                                              Relax yourself and find out solutions to your problems by having a genuine conversation with yourself. Stick a picture of yourself on a board or make a picture of a boy or a girl and think that it is you and start talking to yourself. Make plans, ask yourself how would you deal with it. Question yourself. Do the same things as you would do to make other people solve their problems. Think as if a different person is standing in front of you and you are here to sort out their problems, or at least to give them an assurance that you don't have to worry, we love you. 



                                                                 This is how you would feel better and you will be relieved that if not anyone, someone is always there for you to listen to and help you out in your difficult times, and that would be YOU!

Get ready for new things in life!

Saturday afternoon, what a day!! I am exited about my new job, and also about having new friends there. It will be a whole new experience for me. A new job, with a bunch of new friends with whom I will spend most of my day. Every new thing in life teaches us something. Every new opportunity or every new person that comes in our life teaches us something new. 


                                                                               You need to stand your ground, get ready for new things to come into your life, because accepting new things will not be easy sometimes. It takes us out of our comfort zone, which most of us don't like to be, but that's how it is. We need to step out of our comfort zone sometimes and  move ahead in life. It ain't easy, but that's okay. Just keep trying. Take help of your near and dear ones whom you love and they will support you. Don't be afraid, just fight with the problems and difficulties in your life. You can do it. Just have faith in yourself. It is possible, just go for it. Stay blessed.

LIVE LIFE THE WAY YOU WANT !

How's life? Is it going the way you want it to be? Well, it won't happen. Life goes on its own way. The roller coaster of life will have its own ascends and descends. Keep expectations, but be prepared for the expectations not getting fulfilled. Because expectations will not always be fulfilled. There may be some point in your life where you have to face tremendous difficulties, betrayals, you go into depression, you become upset and things like that. Always keep in mind that these things are normal. They are absolutely normal. And they are a part of life. Be prepared for all these things in your life because they are gonna come. But do not break down from all these circumstances.

                                                                    

                                                                 They all come into your life to teach you something. They are not here to bother you, or to prove you that you are a loser or you cannot do anything in life. They make you even stronger. They are there in your life to tell you that you are strong enough to deal with them and you have the potential to face them.



                                                                Just find out ways to deal with them, do it in your own ways, don't get obsessed with people around you talking against you or saying that you are doing it the wrong way. Just stay calm. Plan everything, handle one task at a time, and keep trying. DO NOT QUIT. Its not when you fail, you are a failure, but when you quit and stop trying, then you are a failure. Keep failing, keep rising up. Strategize your life, set some goals, live life the way you want and do not ever give up. Keep fighting with the problems and difficulties in your life.

MEETING TREK FRIENDS AFTER A MONTH!

I started trekking around 5 to 6 years ago. There is a place very close to my place (I prefer not to reveal the name) which is a great trek spot and a sightseeing spot too. I have a group with which I go there for trekking mostly on weekends, and have a great time there. All my friends are elderly people, some more than 60 and 70 years, and they trek along with us with great enthusiasm and perseverance. They are some of the people I am inspired by and would like to have that type of physique when I reach their age. I met them accidently when one day I decided to trek alone, and when I started trekking there for the first time, I did not know the route. On the same day, they assisted me to reach the top, and asked me whether I would like to trek with them on a regular basis as they were the regular people for the trek. That day onwards, I started trekking with them quite regularly, and started to make trekking as my hobby. Some of my friends in that group also cycle along various places in India. They are very good cyclists. So cycling along them has also led me to make cycling as one of my hobbies. 




                              I had been busy working since one month and was not well since a few weeks. Hence was not able to join them for trekking. Today, I went for trekking after a month. But we did not really trek today. There was a felicitation session for our team members as they recently conquered a summit of 6,200 meters in the Himalayas. We had a lot of fun which included cake cutting and some sweets. It is an honor for me to be a part of such beautiful and nature loving people.
